Born in Hong Kong and educated in the US and UK, Regina began her career in finance on Wall Street but her passion for fashion led her to a new career path. She joined Calvin Klein Inc. in New York in the late 1990s and embarked on a journey in Global Brand Management and Communications.
With a keen eye and appreciation for design, combined with her business acumen and global perceptive, Regina became the Senior Vice President of Global Advertising in 2006, overseeing Calvin Klein’s global marketing budgets and strategies worldwide for apparel, accessories, jeans, underwear and home. During her tenure at Calvin Klein Inc., she developed seasonal marketing and advertising strategies, worked closely with senior management, evaluated new business opportunities and set launch strategies for new markets such as China and new products categories including cosmetics and watches. She also led the brand’s communications into the digital and social era with the development of calvinklein.com and the brand’s social platforms globally.
In 2012, Regina moved to Shanghai as LVMH’s Asia Pacific Group Media Director, managing the group’s media and agencies in the region for over 20 brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Bulgari, Givenchy, Fresh, Tag Heur and Moet and Hennessy etc. amongst others. She brought her global perceptive, strategic thinking and consumer insight to enhance LVMH brands’ regional marketing strategies and ensured all communications matched brands global core values and reasonated with local consumers, particularly in China.
Regina established Regina Szeto & Co., a global branding and strategic marketing consulting firm in Shanghai two years ago. Drawing on her expertise in brand management and strategic marketing/communications globally, she is now working with clients in fashion, luxury, media, home and lifestyle in addition to venture capital firms.
Regina is highly respected and recognized by the global marketing community. She was named by THE INTERNATIONALIST as TOP 100 Marketing Leaders globally in 2012 and 2013.
Regina holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and a MA in Far Eastern Art History from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
She is an avid traveller and is passionate about health & wellness.
